This highlight of the week goes to the Chocolate City natives by the name of OSHUN.

My latest introduction to the Afrocentric queens, Niambi Sala and Thandiwe, has been liberating. With the group named after the African goddess of love, they are here with the music of love, cultural awareness and peace. After hearing their most recent project, bittersweet, Vol. 1 (Deluxe Edition), it will give you higher vibrations. Incorporating the Yoruba culture within their masterpieces, OSHUN has tapped into a mix of conscious hip-hop and neo-soul, promoting self-love and growth.
